What is the main focus of your presentation at Pack Point Nordic, and how does it relate to current trends and innovations in the packaging industry?

– I will focus on how plastics from used food and beverage cartons is recycled at saperatec to be reused in consumer packaging.

What specific challenges and opportunities do you identify for the future of the packaging sector, and how do you plan to address them? In what ways does your organization contribute to promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact through your packaging solutions?

– First, we take recycling of used food and beverage carton to the next level by recovering plastics and aluminum at high quality. Second we produce post-household recycled polymers for a wide range of consumer packaging applications including applications in hygiene and cosmetics packaging. In this way we address some of the most prominent challenges of packaging circularity in the context of EU packaging and packaging waste regulation.

What are your expectations and goals for participating in the conference, and how do you hope the event will influence the industry?

- It is time for packaging converters and brands to act on introducing recycled content into their packaging now. Commercial solutions like ours are available and it is time to get ready for legal recycled content requirements now.
